Wine Storage

  • Step 1: Preparation & Packaging

The first step of starting a Vault collection is to prepare your collection by categorically organizing and packaging your collection into sturdy boxes.  We can provide you with sturdy boxes or even help you organize and package your collection for you.  We recommend organizing cases into categories such as varietal, region, or drinking window.

  • Step 2: Pick Up or Drop Off

The second step is making an appointment to drop off the collection off to our facility, or alternatively, arrangements can be made for our team to pick up the collection from you.  Our facility has a loading bay for ease of access.

  • Step 3: Inventory and Website Upload

At this point, our team begins to take care of your wine for you.  All the information of every bottle (varietal, region, appellation, etc) is recorded and uploaded onto an online database.  Every case is given a unique case number.  Once this has been completed, you will receive login credentials enabling you with remote access to your holdings on our website.  You may also request an appraisal of your collection as an option, which will attach current market values to every bottle in your collection.

  • Step 4: Storage

Your holdings are given a unique private space inside the Vault.  All bottles will rest on their side, climate and humidity-controlled controlled, and lay dormant until ready for retrieval.

  • Step 5: Withdrawal

Once your wine enters its optimal drinking window, it is time to retrieve them for enjoyment.  Simply request the bottles to be withdrawn through our website and we will coordinate an appointment with you to retrieve them once ready.  We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice for any withdrawal.  Once picked up, the bottles are removed from your collection.
